| We got new music in band class finally. We will be playing: Festivo (I can't find it on iTunes) Vesuvius (That is on iTunes, it is an awesome song, difficult for trumpet though) Salute the Duke! (On iTunes also, and again an awesome song for trumpets. It has 4 songs by Duke Ellington. Those songs being: Take the A train, Satin Doll, Flamingo, and Perdido) Tour de Force (Couldn't find it on iTunes either)
and my personal favorite of them all:
The Phantom of the Opera (Of course it's on iTunes, but this is a few songs combined into one. The songs: Think of me, Angel Of Music, The Phantom of the Opera, All I ask of You, The Point of No Return, and Music of the Night)
And of course, I had never heard any of these songs before we started to play them. So now I have an excuse to buy The Phantom of the Opera CD. =) And no, I haven't seen this musical either. I promise I'll rent it the next time I go to the video store. I was really excited that I finally got to play some Broadway music and thought everyone would like to hear, lol. | |

| I love Phantom music been singing alot at my singing lessons as of late some notes are granted tricky but i love it. Its amazing to go see I spent ages trying to work out hwo the did all the different things in it like the labyrinth scene where they appear all over the place and the end part. Which is a little different in the film I have to admit i was please that the film was extreemly simmillar to the stage production. Now i need to go put my Phantom CD on. | |
